Compassion, Honesty, & Choice

Choices — Mark 10:17–27

In the Gospel of Mark, a young man comes to Jesus asking what he must do to inherit eternal life. He acknowledges Jesus as “Good Teacher.” Jesus replies, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.” He reminds the man of the commandments, and the man answers that he has kept them from his youth.

Then, Scripture says, “Jesus looked at him and loved him.” Out of that love, Jesus tells him that to find treasure in heaven, he must sell what he owns, give to the poor, and follow Him. But the young man goes away sorrowful, unable to give up his possessions. The cost of following Jesus was more than he could bear — and Jesus, though grieved, let him walk away.

This story reminds us that Jesus’ love is both compassionate and honest. He loves us enough to speak truth and to let us choose, even when that choice brings pain.

Our Heart at the Pregnancy Centre

In the world of unexpected pregnancy, our clients often come to us at one of the most frightening moments of their lives. Their hopes, dreams, and plans are suddenly interrupted. Many are already facing deep challenges — addiction, abuse, homelessness, or financial hardship — and an unexpected pregnancy can seem to compound their struggles.

Like Jesus, we seek to look at each woman and love her. We see her as someone deeply valued by God, and we want His best for her. Our role is to provide accurate, medically sound information and compassionate support, helping her explore all her options — parenting, adoption, or abortion — within the context of her own hopes, dreams, and values.

Every choice carries a cost, and we gently walk with her as she considers what that means for her life. Just as Jesus did not coerce the young man but invited him to truth and freedom, we never pressure our clients — we offer love, truth, and grace, and we remain available no matter what decision she makes.

Our Commitment

We provide support for all pregnancy outcomes, including:

  • Parenting Support & Resources

  • Adoption Information

  • Support After Abortion — compassionate, confidential help for those experiencing pregnancy-related grief

Through post-abortion grief support, we help women acknowledge their pain and begin healing, walking with them on their journey toward peace and wholeness.

Our Vision

We envision a community of grace where no woman, man, or family faces the effects of an unexpected pregnancy alone — a place where God’s grace is experienced, empowering each person to process fear and grief in safety, dignity, and hope.

Our Mission

To offer accurate information and compassionate support to those impacted by an unexpected pregnancy — providing emotional, spiritual, and practical help to empower life-affirming choices and lasting healing.
